Hi, I have been using Olympus Digital Voice Recorder DS-40 for over 2 years. It worked fine until recently when I could not copy the files from it onto my PC via the USB cable (I am using Windows 7 OS). The audio files are there in the recorder, and I can play all of them on it, but the files where they should be, when I access through PC, are not there, i.e. the folders (default names DSS_FLDB, AUDIBLE, MUSIC ) are empty. I would appreciate if you can help me solve my problem. Thanks.

I`ve bought my Olympus Digital Voice Recorder DS-40
2.5 years ago and I am glad I did. What I am missing though, is a very small microphone that I can attach to the Recorder (it will need a long cable and a clip), that way I can attach it descretly to my clothing.
Please send me some information about such a Product
and where I can purchase it

how can exit from fast/slow play speed and get normal speed?

I would like to buy an Olumpus voice recorder online. I want this recorder for the purpose of recording lecture notes only so that I can listen to it later. Could u pliz advice me of a simple model. thanks
